Follow Following. Since it is just the two of us going we are planning to leave Minneapolis Tuesday morning drive as far as we can get and sleep at a hotel that night. The following day we plan to make the rest of the drive.
We can enter the camping area Wednesday night they open the gates at 7pm and the music starts Thursday. It sounds like there will be a long wait to get in? We have started collecting the camping things that we think we will need. Propane stove, tent, etc. Are there any things that we may not have thought of? Neither one of us has been camping in years. We plan to start our trip back home on Monday.
We plan on driving to an undetermined location and spend two nights in a hotel giving us the opportunity to rest and take a long shower. We are thinking about staying in Chicago or St. We plan to decide soon and make reservations to find a nicer room, maybe a suite. Any advice on the subject would be appreciated!
Thank you! Something to think about: your tent can be really, really far away from the action. My point? We didn't cook or do much else at the camp site. This was even easier since the food inside the festival was surprisingly good and relatively cheap. That's all the advice I really have Do you know how they organize the tent sites? I mean, if we show up early enough will we get a better spot? I don't know, but I assume that getting there earlier would help.
I proudly salute both of you. It's going to be a hot sticky drunken mess, but you'll have a blast. Do you plan to do Lolla again this year?
